Granite
Granite is polished black, with a heavy crystalline and granular appearance. It is one of the hardest materials available. It is easier to maintain than marble.
- Granite may be used indoors and outdoors.
- Granite can bear light foot traffic as long as it has a solid surface underneath it.
- For added durability, all stone is treated with a sealant after etching.

Marble - We are currently unsatisified with the quality of marble available at this time. It is too fragile & contains too many veins. We may offer it again at a later date.
Care & Maintenance
Very little care is needed other then an occasional dusting or cleaning with a soft, non-oily cloth.
Rule-of-thumb: Never use anything you wouldn't use on your hands.
- Clean marble & granite with a few drops of a neutral cleaner, stone soap or a mild liquid dishwashing detergent and warm water, then thoroughly rinse.
- Do not use products that contain lemon, vinegar or other acids (i.e. bathroom & tile cleaners) on the marble & granite as the high acid content may etch and remove the polished surface.
- Do not use as a frisbee. It may scratch the polished surface and change your engraving to abstract art as well as chip a fingernail.
